The Main Ribbon Control – Optimumcut Software Support Desk

The main ribbon control on the main form provides access to all of the commonly used functions within a project.

Ribbon

Save : Saves the current project with the same name. You will be prompted for a name and location is it has not been specified.

Optimise : Optimises the current project and produces reports of the results. The results can also be exported to a variety of formats.

Save Options As Defaults : Saves the options from the current project as the default options to be used in any new project.

Linear Material : Inserts a new linear material into the current project.

Linear Offcuts : Inserts linear material offcuts into the current project that were created from one or more previous projects.

Sheet Material : Inserts a new sheet material into the current project.

Accessory : Inserts a new accessory into the current project.

Component : Inserts a new component in the current project.

Local : Browse the local templates.

Online : Browse the online templates.

Calculator : Launches the Windows calculator.
