In Optimumcut-1D v3 we wanted to avoid the use of popup dialogs as much as possible. In v2, a dialog was shown asking the user to select which materials and reports were required. To avoid this mandatory dialog in v3, we wanted the report preview to be more fluid and respond in real-time to changes to what should be included in the report..

These changes apply to both the selection of components to be included in the report and also which sections of the report are required.

It is very hard to explain how these changes make the product much easier to use so we've created a quick video. This video shows how the generation of the report is restarted as a background task after every modification by the user.
